False Alarm On Animal Poisonings: Apple Valley Polcie

There is no reason to believe anyone is intentionally trying to hurt animals in Apple Valley, according to police.

APPLE VALLEY, MN — The Apple Valley Police Department has an update on the "possible animal poisonings calls" they responded to last week. After fully investigating all of the calls received, police report that none of the sicknesses or deaths were confirmed to be animal poisoning-related. In addition, local veterinarians tell police they are currently treating zero cases of animal poisonings.

"This scare has served as a great reminder of how important it is to keep tabs on our animals and make sure we know what they are ingesting," police said in a statement. "Thank you for your concern relating to these calls, animals are part of the family and it's important that we are attentive to any potential threats to them."

Fortunately, there is no reason to believe anyone is intentionally trying to hurt animals in Apple Valley, according to police.
