Legally Blonde musicians loved music at an early age! Meet Ben & Nick

Ben Callies is the Guitar player in the pit orchestra.  Ben’s mom, Susan, writes:  “He got his first guitar when he was 8 and took lessons from his dad. That didn't work too well!  He picked up the guitar again in 7th grade and now he is our entertainer. He also plays piano and violin.  He has been in fall musicals and Bravo since 10th grade. I think his favorite thing to do is show off when he plays solos!  Someday I think he'd like to sing in front of an audience.”

Nick Salmon, a senior at Eastview High School, is the piano player in the Pit Orchestra.  He has been playing piano since he was eight. He has been in the Pit Orchestra for the musical for three years and has also been involved in Eastview's Jazz Band and Bravo! He has won the Minnesota Music Teacher's State Piano Contest three times and recently got a chance to play for the Eagan Community Theater's production of Peter Pan.  “My favorite part of being in Eastview Theater is working with the talented cast and my fellow musicians, as well as getting an opportunity to learn from Eastview's great band teachers.”
