Meet Delta Nu Sisters: Maya, Lauryn, Kacie, and Laura

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!  Take a break from Black Friday shopping to learn about more of our Delta Nu Sorority sisters in Eastview High School's upcoming production of "Legally Blonde the Musical"!  We open THIS week, so look at the bottom of this article for ticket information.

"Hello! I am Maya Butler, I am a sophomore and I am a Delta Nu. My favorite song/part of the show is "Whipped into Shape", the jump rope number, it was a good challenge that pushed all of those that are a part of it.  I've been involved in theatre since around second grade.  It's always been a passion of mine.  I sing, play piano, and flute. I've been playing flute for 5 years and piano a little over a year. I am also involved in the speech team. I am in the Prose category which is similar to drama.  I also take piano and vocal lessons outside of school."

"I'm Kacie Riddle, and I'm a freshman! I play Kate in the show, the preppy, nerdy sorority girl who helps get Elle into Harvard. My favorite song is "What You Want" because we get the entire cast involved and it was so fun to learn. I've been performing since 2005 and my first show was actually at Eastview! I played Gretel when I was 6 in 'the Sound of Music'. I grew up doing professional theatre at places like the Ordway, the History Theatre, Guthrie, Children's Theatre, and Stages Theatre! I'm also in choir at school. I open enrolled to Eastview because I LOVE the theatre program. I've been seeing the musicals and Bravo even before my sister entered high school in 2009. I loved coming into the theatre program at Eastview because of the wonderful, talented people around me. I enjoy seeing my friends from all different grades after school. The shows are so advanced and fun to do, and I love working with Mr. Durocher, Mrs. Douma, and Mr. Gruber. I'm so excited for the next 3 1/2 years I get to spend here."

"I'm Laura Krupke and I'm a Delta Nu sorority sister. My absolute favorite part of the musical is Rachel's (Elle's) dress change or "whipped into shape" with Sydney (Brooke). I'm a junior and this is my second musical but I was also a part of Bravo last year. I'm really looking forward to being a senior next year and being a role model for all of the underclassmen. I love having all of our theatre traditions and I hope all the years after us continue them!"
