Mason Swain is a junior at Eastview and is playing the role of the cocky ex-boyfriend that breaks up with Elle to go to law school; Warner Huntington III. "This is my 10th show at Eastview High School, and I can't imagine my every day life without theater, it has become such a huge part of my life. I've really enjoyed playing the role of Warner in this show because it is the first time I've played a character who get's to act like a big mean jerk! I love theater at EVHS because I have met my closest friends through it, I get to be involved in an amazing program with such talented directors and performers, and I have a blast doing it! This show has come such a long way since October, and I'm really excited for opening night!"
Grace Mayer, a sophomore, is playing the role of Chutney Wyndham (the girl with the perm) in Eastview's production of Legally Blonde. "My favorite song in the show is "Blood in the Water" because it is a real turning point in getting the audience to sympathize with Elle. I have been acting for the past ten years and truly love being able to get inside another person's head for a time. It teaches you so much about both others and yourself. Eastview theatre is especially remarkable because of the wonderful sense of community it offers. The people here are some of the most accepting I have ever met, and they have an excellent sense of how to balance hard work and dedication with a bit of goofy fun."
