Police Find Couple Shot to Death in Apple Valley Home
Police found two people fatally shot in an Apple Valley home Thursday morning. They are believed to be a married couple in their 50s.

Police found two people fatally shot in an Apple Valley home Thursday morning. Police say the two are believed to be a married couple in their 50s.
On Nov. 3 at about 9:45 a.m., Apple Valley police officers were sent to a location on the 14000 block of Pennock Avenue after receiving a request to check the welfare of the residents.
The initial responding officers located two non-responsive persons inside the residence, who had suffered gunshot wounds, according to a news release. A handgun was located adjacent to the bodies. At this time, police say it is believed that no other persons are involved in this situation and there is no further threat to public safety.

The identity of these two individuals is being withheld pending notification of their family.
The investigation into this matter is ongoing. Detectives from the Apple Valley Police Department and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating.
