Rosemount Police Blotter: Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Child, Malicious Punishment of a Child & Underage Drinking

January 9

Police pulled over a 27-year-old male driver for improper use of turning left/right and charged him with a fourth degree DUI at the intersection of Shannon Parkway and 150th St. W. at 6:05 a.m.

Police responded to a juvenile runaway call on the 3300 block of 147th St. W. at 3:50 p.m.

January 10

Police investigated a domestic disturbance on the 14100 block of Blaine Ave. E. at 6:05 a.m. 

Police responded to a domestic disturbance call on the 13900 block of Broughshane Avenue at 9:00 a.m.

Police responded to a mental health call on the 4400 block of Upper 156th Street West at 2:18 p.m.

Police pulled over a Lakeville 18-year-old male driver for failing to yield to the right of way and charged him with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernelia, as well as liquor possession under the age of 21. The incident happened at the intersection of Cantata Avenue and Upper 143rd St. W. at 8:34 p.m.

January 11

Police investigated a fraud on the 15400 block of Chippendale Avenue West at 2:10 p.m.

Police investigated criminal sexual conduct with an adult soliciting a child to engage in sexual conduct on the 3700 block of 145th St. W. at 8:30 a.m.

Police investigated a third degree criminal sexual conduct case on Clare Downs Way at 8:34 a.m. 

Police responded to third degree criminal property damage on the 3400 block of 150th St. W. at 1:31 p.m.

Police investigated a family offense where a suspect was charged with a gross misdeamnor of maliciously punishing a child on the 3100 block of 143rd St. W. at 1:58 p.m.

Police charged a 47-year-old man from Fort Dodge with a second degree DUI, second degree DUI refusal to submit to test and second degree DWI because of two or more aggravating factors on the 15000 block of Chippendale Avenue at 10:14 p.m.

January 12

Police responded to a theft on the 13400 block of Daffodil Path at 7:28 p.m.

Police responded to a suspect littering on the 15400 block of Shannon Parkway at 6:50 p.m.

Police investigated a disturbance including annoying phone calls on the 13400 block of Carbury Way at 9:30 p.m.

Police investigated a trespassing at the intersection of 155th Street East and Angus Avenue at 7:08 p.m.

January 13

Police investigated a minor consuming liquor on the 13800 block of Robert Trail South at 8:02 p.m.

January 14

Police pulled a 47-year-old Rosemount man over for a loud muffler and charged him with a fourth degree DUI at the intersection of County Road 42 and Chippendale Avenue at 4:13 a.m.
