"State of the River" Presentation in Apple Valley

Friends of the Mississippi River partnered with the National Park Service's Mississippi National River & Recreation Area unit to develop the "State of the River Report." The report provides a clear, concise snapshot of the health of the Mississippi River.

At the presentation, the report's principal authors, FMR Watershed Program Director Trevor Russell and MNRRA Water Quality Coordinator Lark Weller, will summarize a wealth of water quality and aquatic ecosystem data, highlighting key trends and emerging issues that impact the river, as well as provide an overview of potential solutions to protect the river and its watershed. The second half of the event will feature a hosted conversation with Trevor, Lark and local water quality experts, where participants will have the opportunity to contribute questions.

To register, please contact FMR Registrar Lindsay Hefferan (lhefferan@fmr.org) and include the event title, your name and contact info, and the number in your party.
