Brainerd man faces criminal charge for sexual assault (brainerddispatch.com) — A 21-year-old Brainerd man has been charged in Crow Wing County District Court with first-degree criminal sexual conduct after a woman reported an assault at a Brainerd home. Brainerd schools to partner with Little Falls for admin position (brainerddispatch.com) — Brainerd Public Schools will share an executive director of operations with Little Falls starting Oct. 1, trimming central-office costs and redirecting about $750,000 back into classrooms.
