• Burnsville man pleads guilty to murder for stabbing mother of his children (cbsnews.com) — A Burnsville man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the 2025 stabbing death of his children's mother at a home on 117th Street East, and he's expected to receive life in prison with possible parole at sentencing on Sept. 28. Police say the killing happened while the couple's two young children were inside, and the case highlights ongoing concerns about domestic violence in Burnsville.
