• Since 1934, the Federal Duck Stamp has raised $1.3 billion for habitat conservation (popsci.com) — A Delano artist, Robert Hautman, has again won the prestigious Federal Duck Stamp Art Contest, meaning his painting will appear on the 2027–2028 stamp. The program, which has raised $1.3 billion since 1934, channels stamp sales into protecting millions of acres of wetland habitat and expanding public access to national wildlife refuges for hunting, birding, and hiking.
