3 Cars Stolen In Eagan Residents' Driveways

The thefts happened in less than two hours Wednesday morning.

EAGAN, MN — Authorities in Eagan are reminding residents not to leave their cars running while left unattended. Police say three vehicles were stolen between 6:55 a.m. and 8:36 a.m. on Wednesday.

All three cars were taken when the keys were left in the ignition and the cars were warming up in the driveway, police said. One vehicle was recovered. Officers are attempting to locate the other two.

6:55 a.m. – 4000 block of Meadowlark Way
7:31 a.m. – 1400 block of Rocky Lane
8:36 a.m. – 4300 block of Woodgate Lane

"Please remember to never leave keys in a vehicle unattended even if it’s really cold outside," Eagan police said in a statement.
