Authorities in Eagan are investigating after responding to the incident over the weekend.
EAGAN, MN — Authorities are investigating after a man's body was found in the trunk of a car in Eagan. Police Saturday responded to the report of a "body in the trunk" near Diamond Drive and Diffley Road.
Preliminary details suggest the man was living in his vehicle and that alcohol played a role in the man's death, according to authorities. Investigators do not suspect any foul play, and note it does not appear there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
"We want to thank everyone for their patience while this case was investigated," Eagan police said in a statement.
