Construction Begins July 19 on Pilot Knob Road in Eagan
Westbound Central Parkway and the southbound lanes of Pilot Knob Road will close sooner than expected.
Eagan, MN – The closure of westbound Central Parkway and the southbound lanes of Pilot Knob Road, from the Central Parkway to Yankee Doodle Road, will occur sooner than originally expected, according to a news release.
- The first closure will be the westbound lane of Central Parkway just west of Pilot Knob Road from July 19 to July 26
- Southbound Pilot Knob Road, south of Central Parkway to Yankee Doodle Road, is scheduled for closure starting July 26, and will last to the end of September
The intersection of Pilot Knob Road/ Central Parkway will remain open, except for short periods of time during off-peak hours. One lane of northbound Pilot Knob Road will remain open at all times.
Advance warning signs will be placed as needed alerting drivers of this change. The schedule change is due to delays by some utility companies in relocating underground and overhead service lines.
