Eagan House Fire: Red Cross Helping 4 Adults, 3 Children
The American Red Cross volunteers are helping four adults and three children after a fire in Eagan.
On Monday, the Eagan Fire Department responded to a house fire on Penkwe Way. The cause of the fire was determined to be improperly discarded smoking material, according to city officials.
The American Red Cross volunteers are helping four adults and three children after the fire. Following home fires, Red Cross volunteers connect with those affected and provide assistance for their immediate emergency needs, including emotional support and help with long-term recovery planning, according to a news release.
Eagan firefighters are reminding residents that if you smoke, buy and use a properly designed container to discard of smoking materials.
