Eagan McDonald's Fire: Sparks From Demolition Started Blaze

No injuries were reported in the fire that started at the McDonald's building in Eagan Tuesday.

EAGAN, MN —No injuries were reported in a fire that broke out at the McDonald's at Erin Drive and Nicols Road in Eagan Tuesday. Eagan and Burnsville fire crews responded to the blaze just after 1 p.m.

Fire crews remained on the scene for about an hour as they extinguished the blaze.

The building was in process of being demolished so a new one could be built in its place. According to Eagan Fire Chief Mike Scott, sparks from the demolition started the fire.
