Missing Eagan Woman Found Safe In Apple Valley

Letebrhan Efriem, 65, of Eagan, was reported missing Tuesday. Eagan police said she has dementia.

UPDATE, 11:00 p.m. – Eagan police say Letebraham Efriem has been found safe and sound in Apple Valley. She has been reunited with her family.

Authorities thanked everyone who helped spread the word.


EAGAN, MN — The Eagan Police Department is seeking assistance in locating Letebrhan Efriem, 65, of Eagan.

Efriem was last seen walking away from the Starbucks across the street from her residence near Cliff Road and Rahncliff Road around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 4.

Efriem has dementia, no money, and only left with her toothbrush, according to a news release.

Police say she would not know to see assistance. Authorities are concerned for her welfare.

Efriem was last seen wearing a hijab/head cover, possibly yellow, a dress, a shawl of unknown color, and flip-flops.

She has limited language skills and may not be communicative. While Efriem is on foot, in the time she has been gone, police say she could have covered a lot of ground.
