Employee Used Taser to Destroy Property in Eagan Before Being Fired: Charges
A man faces a felony charge after he brought a taser to his workplace in Eagan and allegedly caused $3,248 worth of damages.

A man has been charged with a felony after he brought a taser to his workplace in Eagan and allegedly caused $3,248 worth of damages. The alleged incident took place right before the man was to be fired from his job.
On Nov. 9, Eagan police responded to a report from a local business of "retaliation of a soon to be terminated employee," KMSP reported. The suspect was identified as Trent Foley, 44, of Newport.
Video recorded by another employee on a tablet reportedly shows Foley discharging a taser at other employees' personal property, according to KSMP:

The video then shows Foley putting the tablet in the microwave.
Another employee contacted police and said that there was a taser in the back of Foley’s truck that was left at the scene due to an injury that took place on the day Foley was fired.
