According to data analysis website FiveThityEight, Minnesota has a 70 percent chance of making the playoffs.
A win tonight in Seattle on Monday Night Football would bring the team's chances up to 93 percent. A loss against the Seahawks drops the Vikings to 57 percent.
Compare that to the odds for the Green Bay Packers, who currently have a dismal three percent chance of making the playoffs.
There are dozens of ways the Vikings could clinch a postseason berth, but the easiest way is to simply win out.
Here's the remaining 2018 schedule for the Vikings:
Monday, Dec. 10: Minnesota at Seattle
Sunday, Dec. 16: Miami at Minnesota
Sunday, Dec. 23: Minnesota at Detroit
