New Eagan Funfest Ambassadors Help Children Enjoy National Night Out
Ambassador Madeline Cherel Describes Activities at the Open Door National Night Out Event

It's been nearly a month since me and my fellow ambassadors were sitting in a row waiting eagerly to be crowned to represent the amazing city of Eagan. National Night Out was our first volunteer event and personally I thought was the most fun.
The night started off with me a Julia wiping down the tables for the public. when Aaron and Jillian arrived we were told to head over to the bouncy houses. Aaron and I ran the fire truck while Jillian and Julia concerned the obstacle course. About ten minutes later people started arriving with their kids, family, and friends. I Hadn't ever heard of this event that's probably why I was surprised to see how many people showed up. Most of the kids prefered the obstacle course over the bouncy house so Aaron and I weren't to busy, while on the other hand Jillian and Julia had kids running and jumping all over the place.
After about one hour of Aaron and I supervising the bouncy kids jump all around, Julia and I switched places. I went over to Jillian and she taught me how to master the art of obstacle course patrol. After that we started high fiving all the kids for successfully completing the course.

Many many high fives later Jillian and I sat down and ate delicious ham and cheese sandwiches. Once we finished our food Aaron and Julia got their share of sandwiches. We resumed high fiving. I saw so many new faces and heard so many more giggles.
When the event was coming to an end the all us ambassadors raced through the obstacle course it was very intense.

Overall I think our first volunteer event was a success and I'm so excited to keep making great memories with my royal family.
