People Hurt After Large Firework Set Off At Eagan Movie Theater: Police

EAGAN, MN — Several people were injured after a large firework was set off at an Eagan movie theater, according to police.

Officers were called about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday to the Emagine Theater in the 2000 block of Cliff Road after a person lit the firework and tossed it into the theater before leaving, police said. The victims were treated for minor injuries in connection with the incident, according to police.

The investigation remained open Wednesday afternoon, but police did not believe there was a threat to the public.
