Potentially Fatal Dog Poison Found In Scott County

On the border of Elko New Market and New Market Township, several meat sticks were found that could be deadly to dogs.

SCOTT COUNTY, MN — On the border of the city of Elko New Market and New Market Township, several hot dog pieces and beef sticks were found by a resident that contained ibuprofen inside of them.
Ibuprofen can be deadly to dogs if ingested. It was found in the area of Cedric Lane and Harvest Drive, according to the Scott County Sheriff's Office.

The area was thoroughly searched and cleaned up by Elko New Market Officer Machaby, authorities say. Let the Scott County Sheriff's Office or Elko New Market Police know if you have any information on this case.

"Pet owners please use caution with your loved furry ones while you are all out and about enjoying this beautiful weather!" county officials warned on Facebook Sunday.
