Sled Used To Rescue Elderly Woman In Eagan Who Slipped On Ice
Eagan police were forced to get creative in order to rescue an elderly woman who slipped on the ice and sustained serious face trauma.

EAGAN, MN — Eagan police were forced to get creative in order to rescue an elderly woman who slipped on ice and sustained serious face trauma Wednesday. An ambulance couldn’t get close to her and a stretcher wouldn’t work because the path was completely iced over.
"We decided to go with an unconventional method to get her out," Eagan police said on Twitter.
An officer found a sled in the nearby garage and used it to pull the woman to the ambulance.
