SUV Crashes Into Eagan Starbucks: 2 Hurt, DWI Suspected
A man was arrested on suspicion of DWI after the crash Monday night.

EAGAN, MN — One man was arrested and two people were hurt after a vehicle crashed into a Starbucks in Eagan Monday evening. Eagan police responded to the scene at 1480 Central Park Commons Drive just after 9 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found an SUV was driven into the south side of the building and injured a 29-year-old man from West St. Paul and a 30-year-old woman from Eagan.
The victims were identified as Stanton Marvin Baldwin and Macy Layne Olson. Police believe both Baldwin and Olson were sitting on the outdoor patio at the time of the crash. They were transported to Regions Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as 44-year-old Ihar Daniliuk, of Eagan. He suffered minor injuries.
While speaking with Daniliuk, police suspected him to be under the influence and arrested him on suspicion of DWI.

Daniliuk was treated at a local hospital and later transported to Dakota County Jail where he awaits official charges, according to a news release.
Investigators do not believe the Starbucks building sustained any structural damage. The business reopened Tuesday.
