Tour Edina's historic treasures: St. Stephen's Church, Minnehaha Grange, Cahill School
Historic Cahill School and Minnehaha Grange Hall at Tupa Park and St. Stephen’s Church, at 50th and Wooddale, will host free public tours on Tuesday, May. 8.
Seventy-five-year-old St. Stephen's Church is a well-known Edina landmark that seems a permanent part of the 50th Street landscape. But long before the church broke ground, another important Edina institution, Minnehaha Grange, stood on the same corner before it was moved to make way for Country Club District development.
Get a closer look at both buildings, which played significant roles in Edina's history as it changed from a rural village to a suburb. Formal tours, beginning at 5 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., will be held at each site on Tuesday, May 8.

Historic Cahill School, located adjacent to the Grange at Tupa Park, also will be open for informal tours from 5 to 7 p.m.
Visit one or both sites. The schedule allows time for visitors to tour one building, then walk or drive to the next site, located about a half mile away, in time for the next tour.
