goGLOW to Open Brick & Mortar at 50th & France

goGLOW, the Twin Cities premier custom sunless tanning provider is opening an Edina location in late July of 2015 at 3922 W. 50th Street in the historic 50th & France neighborhood. This boutique will offer guests a professional spray tanning experience that is custom blended based on their skin tone and personal tanning preferences. The 1,800 square foot space will boat four individual custom spray tanning rooms, a private event space for groups of up to 20, as well as space for retail merchandise including specialty skincare products and apparel from local boutique partners. Custom spray tans from goGLOW Edina will cost $45 and appointments will be scheduled in 20 minute increments. Tantini parties of two at the Edina location will cost $70 ($35/person).

“The 50th & France neighborhood was a natural fit for the goGLOW brand,” says Melanie Richards, owner and founder of goGLOW. “This new space will act as our flagship location as we continue to offer our mobile spray tanning services as well as those in our Sola Salon venues. Our growth over the past five years has been incredible and we’re excited to be able to spread the goGLOW love to the Edina community who has already voted us Best Tanning in Edina.”

Tans offered by goGLOW utilize the industry’s top-of-the-line, uniquely blended solution containing eco certified organic sugar dihydroxyacetone (DHA), derived from plant sources such as sugar beets and sugar cane. DHA is safe and FDA approved. Each custom spray tan included a pH balancing spray, custom tanning solution and hydro-mist solution packed with antioxidants, vitamins and aloe.

goGLOW’s Edina location marks the company’s third brick and mortar boutique, but the first that will be found outside a Sola Salon venue. The company was founded in 2010 by Melanie Richards as a mobile-only service that provided custom sunless tanning in the convenience of a guest’s home, office or desired tanning location.Since it’s inception, Richards has expanded the company to also include three goGLOW venues, which can be found in Salo Salons located in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis, as well as the Woodbury Lakes shopping center and now the new flagship location in Edina.
