Help Make Edina "Dementia Friendly"

Next Dementia Friends training Saturday, July 18, 9 - 10:30, at the Edina Senior Center. Hosted by ACT on Alzheimer's - Edina

ACT on Alzheimer‘s Edina is hosting free “Dementia Friends“ training sessions around Edina this summer. Find out what it means to become a Dementia Friend and help make Edina a dementia-friendly community.

The ACT Edina team is helping to raise awareness of the issue of people living with memory loss (with or without a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease) and what they and their family members face along the journey of this disease/condition. ACT-Edina is hosting free “Dementia Friends” sessions throughout our community. These information sessions provide an opportunity to learn a bit about what it’s like to live with dementia and then turn that learning into action. Edina is one of 33 Act on Alzheimer’s communities around the state actively working to become “dementia friendly.”

Free Sessions are scheduled throughout the summer. Register here.
