• Ribbons in Our Lady of Grace fresco offer lasting tribute to Annunciation hope (thecatholicspirit.com) — A new detail in the Annunciation fresco at Our Lady of Grace in Edina now permanently honors the Minneapolis Annunciation community after last year's school shooting. Artist Mark Balma added blue and green ribbons to symbolize the lost students and the enduring relationship between the two parishes, offering a lasting focal point for shared grief and hope.
   

• U.S. Women Head to Dominican Republic for 2026 NORCECA Continental Championship (usavolleyball.org) — An Edina native, opposite hitter Jordan Thompson, is on the 14-player U.S. Women's National Team roster heading to the Dominican Republic for the 2026 NORCECA Continental Championship. The tournament, running August 21–28, helps determine World Cup and Olympic berths for other nations, while U.S. fans can follow Thompson and teammates through group play against Trinidad and Tobago, Mexico, and Canada.
   

• New Ranking Of Minnesota's Public High Schools Released By U.S. News (patch.com) — Edina Senior High School has been named one of Minnesota's top public high schools in U.S. News & World Report's new 2026–27 rankings. The list evaluates graduation rates, test performance, and college readiness, placing Edina alongside other high-performing Twin Cities schools.
