Unique summer volunteer opportunity!
Volunteer for the summer opportunity of a lifetime hosting a French exchange student!
Hello!
Are you looking for a summer opportunity that will change your family’s life?
If so, please consider being a host family this summer! From July 10-30th, 2015 a group of French exchange students are visiting the Twin Cities with the nonprofit CCI Greenheart and we need a host family for each student.

All host families must have a teenage child living at home but families do NOT need to speak French. The students who are visiting are hoping to improve their English and learn about every day American life.
The local coordinator (Rebecca Inver) will be working closely with the host families the entire time to help address any issues that may arise and to answer any questions. There will be an orientation meeting before the students arrive as well as a welcome party and a goodbye party for everyone. Additionally, there will be four day trips planned for the French students, though the host families are welcome to join on those trips as well (Mall of America, amusement park, Twins Game, and restoring the Mississippi Watershed).
Though this is an unpaid opportunity, it is a great way for families to volunteer, connect with a another culture, help a student practice their English and learn about France!
Please feel free to forward this information to anyone who might be interested and please contact me ASAP if you are interested.
