Wish Trip Comes True For Edina Child Through Make-A-Wish and United Health Foundation

Samuel, six, of Edina lives with a brain tumor.  When presented with an opportunity for a wish, he chose to visit his favorite theme parks in Florida.  Samuel’s wish came true, courtesy of United Health Foundation and Make-A-Wish.  Samuel traveled to Orlando with his parents, Rebecca and Michael, and siblings Luke, Hannah and Rachel.  United Health Foundation sponsored Samuel’s wish trip through its $7.5 million national alliance with Make-A-Wish to support the organization and its mission of granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.  Since 2007, UnitedHealth Group has funded more than 2,136 wishes.
