• MPCA seeks public comment on proposed Metropolitan Council wastewater capacity expansion (monitorsaintpaul.com) — A major new wastewater lift station is proposed along the Mississippi River in Fridley, boosting capacity from 43 to 67 million gallons per day and replacing the current Brooklyn Park facility. State regulators are taking public comments on the project's environmental assessment through Sept. 10, 2026, which will help determine whether more review is needed before construction and permitting move ahead.
