• Hastings Woman Charged in Alleged $35K SNAP Benefits Fraud (limitless-news.com) — A Hastings woman is accused of wrongfully receiving more than $35,000 in SNAP benefits by allegedly failing to report another adult living and working from her Hastings residence. Prosecutors say inaccurate household information on multiple forms between 2022 and 2025 led to years of overpayments. She faces a felony theft-by-assistance charge and a possible lengthy prison sentence if convicted, but remains presumed innocent.
