• 907 Mainstreet may become a historically-themed cocktail lounge, event venue (hometownsource.com) — Hopkins officials just took the first step toward turning the historic 907 Mainstreet building into a historically themed cocktail lounge, private club, and event venue, instead of leaving it vacant. The City Council unanimously approved a preliminary development agreement with Eden Endeavors, whose owner grew up in Hopkins, aiming to preserve the building's character while finally putting the long-empty former Masonic lodge back to use.
   

• Sophia Farrell (1011now.com) — A young journalist who grew up in Hopkins and found her voice in local theater is now reporting in Nebraska while finishing a broadcasting and journalism degree. Her path runs from Hopkins stages to student newscasts, newspaper work, and a national reporting fellowship, showing how early community experiences can launch broader storytelling careers beyond Minnesota.
