Avoid Douglas Drive During BLM Protest: Crystal Police

In anticipation of a Black Lives Matter protest, Crystal police say motorists should avoid 42nd and Douglas Drive Wednesday.

CRYSTAL, MN — In anticipation of a protest sponsored by Black Lives Matter-Saint Paul, and in order "to ensure efficient traffic management and orderly pedestrian activities," the Crystal Police Department is encouraging all vehicle traffic to avoid the intersection of 42nd and Douglas Drive on Wednesday, May 31 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Crystal city offices will be closed at 4 p.m. Wednesday and will re-open at 8:00 a.m. Thursday. "Thank you for your cooperation and understanding," police said on Facebook.
