Funds Raised For Family Of Teen Killed On Snowy MN Road

The head-on crash killed one teen and injured three other people, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

DULUTH, MN — A fundraiser has been set up for the family of a teen who was killed in a crash on a snowy and icy St. Louis County road Saturday. Passenger Emma Faith Abernathey, 17, of Proctor was killed in the crash.

The head-on crash also injured three other people, the Minnesota State Patrol said.

Abernathey loved art, music and animals, according to her obituary. A service for her will be held at 5 p.m. at Bell Brothers Funeral Home in Duluth on Thursday.

A GoFundMe page has been established for the family and has so far raised $8,213.

Abernathey is survived by her mom, Rosanne, and her siblings, Alaina and Waylon.
