Maple Grove Woman Gets Probation In Crash Killing 2 Girls
The collision killed two Mounds View High School students and injured a third. The three teens were on their way to school.

RAMSEY COUNTY, MN — The Maple Grove woman involved in a 2016 crash that killed two students from Mounds View High School and injured a third will see no prison time. Rachel Diane Kayl was instead sentenced to serve 10 years’ probation.
Kayl was driving over 80 miles per hour when she crashed on Highway 96, FOX 9 reports.
The site of the fatal crash was briefly closed in 2016 so students could leave memorials for the two girls who were killed, Bridget Giere and Stephanie Carlson.
