1. A Minnesota native was killed this week in Ukraine, according to reports from AP and KARE11. James "Jimmy" Hill died in Chernihiv, where at least 50 people were killed by artillery fire this week. (Patch)

2. Another Minneapolis Public Schools official is resigning in the second week of the teachers strike. Maggie Sullivan will move on from her role as senior officer of human resources at the end of the month. (BMTN)

3. A Minneapolis man will receive $2.4 million from the city after he was struck and injured during a protest in 2020. Soren Stevenson was protesting the murder of George Floyd when he was struck with a projectile and lost his eye.
