Park staff will share draft designs, answer questions, and outline a construction timeline that would bring major shoreline work to the lake in 2027, directly affecting how residents use this popular Minneapolis destination.
   

• Rabid bat found in Minneapolis as state investigates wildlife service (kare11.com) — Health officials are urging anyone who used ASAP Wildlife Services MN or touched a bat found Sept. 15 on Hennepin Avenue and N. 3rd Street in Minneapolis to seek guidance immediately. Customers should call the Minnesota Department of Health to verify rabies testing and determine if preventive shots are needed, since at least one animal was reportedly mis-tested by an unqualified lab.
