Frontline workers could see the money in their bank account as early as Wednesday, according to Gov. Tim Walz's office.
MINNESOTA — More than 1 million of Minnesota's frontline workers will receive a bonus check of $487.45 this fall, Gov. Tim Walz announced Monday.
Workers were originally told they could receive up to $750 when Walz signed the measure into law in April.
Officials originally expected about 667,000 would qualify for the payment. However, 1,025,655 qualified and will be paid, according to the governor's office.

The Frontline Worker Pay bill set aside $500 million for equal payments to eligible applicants, and applications were accepted from June 8 through July 22.
