Snow Hasn't Completely Melted Yet In The Twin Cities
A dirty snowbank is hanging on for dear life at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
MINNEAPOLIS — If you need a good reminder of how much snow fell in Minnesota this past winter, there's one currently sitting at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
On July 7, the airport tweeted out an image of a snowbank that has somehow survived months of temperatures in the 70s, 80s, and even 90s. The snowbank may be difficult to see at first, as it's covered under a thick layer of dirt, but it's there if you look hard enough.
Minnesotans will be watching with anticipation to see if it melts before it starts snowing again later this year.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport saw more than 80 inches of snow this year, making it the eighth snowiest season on record. The metro went more than 100 consecutive days with at least 1 inch of snow on the ground.
There was so much snow that residents in the south metro dubbed a Target parking lot snowbank "Mt. Eden Prairie."
