PHOTOS: Richfield High School to Get New Athletic Field

When (RHS) fall athletes return to school in September 2011, they will find a brand new infill-style, synthetic turf field.

According to RHS Athletic Director Todd Olson, the field will be used for all fall sports and the RHS Marching Band will also practice on the field in the fall and summer. Olson also said the turf is the same as the field at the University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.

Once the field is complete it will also be available for rent by area youth and adult sports teams.
