The annual Variety Show featured 11 skits.

Once again, Richfield High School (RHS) held the annual, and ever popular, Fire 'N' Ice Variety Show Monday night.

The show featured 11  different acts, ranging from a traditional Indian dance to breakdancing to singing.

"Sometimes we have great talent, and sometimes it's just a variety and fun," Teresa Rosen, assistant vice principal and student governement advisor at RHS, said.

Student Tejwatee Sook performed a traditional Indian dance.

"I think it's a good to be brave and do something in front of everyone," she said. "It's a good way for everyone to express themselves."

RHS alumni, "Dr33m T33m", who performed a rap they wrote about Richfield, were special guests. Typically, students who have graduated and other non-students aren't allowed to participate, but Dr33m T33m is a crowd favorite who have performed in past years.

To round out the night, the senior girls performed its famous, or infamous, Senior Skit to embarrass and poke-fun at senior boys.

"It's tradition that the each girl picks a boy and they imitate them—borrow their clothes, make fun of one of their idiosyncracies and all of the boys turn out to see," Rosen said. "It's an honor. Even when the crowd 'Oohs' [or is shocked], it's really an honor [to be in the skit]."

Senior Eric Amundson was one of the many targets in the skit, but wasn't offended in the least.

"She got me good," he said. "It's all in [good] fun."
