Have you seen a Little Free Library in your neighborhood?
There are no registered libraries in Shakopee...maybe you can be the first!
Little Free Libraries are spreading across the country! Maybe you have seen one – a little wooden box in someone's yard or a bookshelf in a community location. These libraries began in Wisconsin by two men who had an idea. These libraries are a place to find new books, share books you have already read, and connect with others in your community.
You can become involved in this movement by building your own little library or purchasing one. Once the library is installed, you can register it on the Little Free Library website and it will be added to a map with other libraries around the world.
As of now, there are no registered little free libraries in Shakopee...maybe you can be the first! There are already two registered in Savage – 5687 Lone Oak Drive, and 12758 Ottawa Avenue, that you can stop by and check out.
