Help Brighten the Day for Kids in the Hospital

There's a very simple way to impact the lives of kids who are facing unimaginable challenges.

Do you enjoy making homemade greeting cards?  Consider making some for kids and sending them to the Cards for Hospitalized Kids organization.  This organization is based in Chicago, IL, but they distribute cards all over the United States.  Since their founding in March 2010, over 6,000 kids at more than 60 hospitals have already received cards.  They have a goal to send cards to at least 20,000 kids in 2012.

You can help them reach this goal by making cards or hosting a card making event.  Their website has details for making cards. You can even host a card making event and request founder Jen Rubino to visit your event via Skype.

This is such a simple way to impact the lives of kids who are facing unimaginable challenges.  Learn more about this organization here.
