OK, Vacation’s over. Time to get serious about my health!

It's time for me to get serious about my eating habits again after walking all the way up here and being out of breath towards the summit.

My family and I just returned from Custer State Park this past weekend.  It was a wonderful trip with lots of great memories and we ate lots of food.  OK, not much good food perhaps.  Mornings with lots of bacon, chips for snacks, pop for my thirst and Dr. Pepper habit, a few greens and fruits, hot dogs and lots of ice cream.  Hey, it was HOT in South Dakota.  Not necessarily the diet of a Dr. who knows better.

Looking at the pictures of me in my swimming suit in the lake and feeling kind of sluggish with my brain in a fog were all signs that it was time for me to get serious about eating better again. 

My goals, perhaps like most people, were to lose some weight, feel lighter when I walk, get the cobwebs out of my brain, and look and feel better!  And I wanted to accomplish these goals in the easiest, least painful way possible.  I’ll do a purification program like I have in the past! Great idea!

You’re probably wondering what a purification program consists of right?  Well, I’ll tell you about the one I have done 3 times before over the last 3 years or so.  I didn’t invent it.  It has been used for many years by thousands of people seeking better health.  I will tell you more about it, but first, why would you want to consider doing one of these programs?  You could even do one with me if it would help to have a partner.

Are you overweight?  66+% of America is right now, so I’m guessing you could be one of those persons.  Do you have little if any energy left at the end of the day? Do you just want to sit down after work, eat, watch TV, eat some more, and go to bed and do it all over again the next day?  Do you have “brain fog”?  Do those clothes that once fit you well feel a bit tight over the last couple of months or years?  Are you on a downhill slope to becoming a diabetic with sugar and sweet cravings 24/7 and feel like you can't do anything to stop your cravings?  Do you work in a place that exposes you to toxins and chemicals?  You might be a candidate for a purification program too!

So, today was day one of my 21 day (at least) purification program.  So far, so good.   I’ll blog tomorrow with more details and how I’m feeling and more about the program that can get you going on getting control of your health.
