Spring 2012 Update from the Shakopee Visitor's Bureau!

Think forward to spring in Shakopee! On April 14th, will be hosting Savor Minnesota, the Best of Minnesota Wine, Food and Beer. Guests will be able to eat and drink their way through various vendors, from Italian and Chinese to chocolate and strudel. Twenty Minnesota wineries and brewers will be winning guests over with their local libations.

Another sign of Spring in our community is the Canterbury Spring Festival, An Arts and Crafts Affair," April 8th-10th and the start of live horse racing at Canterbury Park on May 18th!

Gear up for more action at , home to NASCAR weekly racing and special "Nights of Destruction" events starting May 6th. Nearby Chanhassen Dinner Theatre will extend its Main Stage production of HAIRSPRAY through May 26th! Also open for the season on April 14th is Crofut Family Winery, where you can relax and unwind while tasting local, award winning wines! Lastly, will open it gates for a season of fun and excitement on May 12^th.
