Why?

Why? Why? Why?

Why?

We have all asked this question, many times. It is a good question. Sometimes we ask about how creation works along with things in our daily lives, why things exist. We use it as an expression of despair, and we ask why people act and think the way they do, etc…

These questions are a product of living. I believe there is a question that is not asked enough or when it is asked, it is asked insincerely. The question is: ‘Why am I here?’

Other questions follow ‘Why am I here?’ They are: ‘Who or What made me?’ ‘Why is there evil?’ ‘Why is there death?’ ‘Is there anything after death?’

These are just a few questions that would follow ‘Why am I here?’ The true answer is to give glory to God during all of the days He gives us on earth. When I speak of the lack of people who are even asking that question or asking it insincerely, I believe some don’t want to know so they don’t ask and others when they ask they want to form their answer to their own liking so they can live their’ lives according to how they want.

Asking ‘Why am I here’ outside of the classroom or to another human being would mean that you are either talking to the wind or you have faith there is a Creator who can hear you. Even if you asked somebody else and they suggested a supreme being or answer your existence question with a religious view of something outside of yourself, in order to seek out your answer, you would need faith to do so.

Well, are you of the persuasion, eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die, or of the mindset that wants to find the truth about ‘Why we are here?’ The good news is there is a Creator and you can’t miss out on His presence:

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. (Psalm 19:1, NIV)

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (Romans 1:20, NASB)

Why? Why? Why? Even believers have questions, however they have the answers asked above: about who made us, why is there evil, why there is death, and where they are going when they die. The truth is, life is hard. God has given us many answers through the Holy Scriptures and through Jesus Christ, His Son, who came to this world to expressly save us from evil and its consequences death and eternal damnation. Don’t be foolish; come true fully to God your Creator. There is a lie circulating that He is unloving and doesn’t care about us, it is not true, listen to this:

16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. 19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. (John 3:16-20, NIV)

The truth is you were made to know Him. He already knows you. He loves you. Don’t miss out on His love and help as you walk through this life’s good and bad times. When you die, you will come home to Him in heaven. Yes, there is a lie circulating about there being no heaven, it is far from the truth. Evil points
to a definite hell. God has provided a way to heaven through Jesus Christ. Come
to Him with your sins, worries, and cares.
