📰 News we're reading
• 'Keep their memory alive, keep talking about them' (nujournal.com) — Sleepy Eye residents recently gathered at Allison Park for the KT Humble Hearts Remembrance Walk, honoring loved ones with memorial signs and a two-mile walk around Sleepy Eye Lake. The event, rooted in a local family's loss, now offers free, faith-based grief support and a space for neighbors to share stories, remember together, and find hope in community.
• Trojans football makes it two in a row with late TD to knock off Albert Lea (myradioworks.net) — Area prep sports fans can note that Sleepy Eye United topped Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 40–28 in Friday night football action, one of several regional scores. The roundup also highlights Worthington's late-game win over Albert Lea, Minnesota West volleyball's strong road swing, and a busy slate of volleyball and tennis results affecting nearby conference rivals.
