Lakers Defensive Melts Polars

The Southwest High School Lakers (2-1 Minneapolis City Conference, 2-3 overall) put on a defensive exposition for its homecoming crowd Saturday at Pershing Park in a 41-8 romp over North Community High School (0-4, 0-5).

The Lakers defensive forced eight Polars turnovers and converted touchdowns on two of them (both interceptions).

Not to be out done, the Southwest homecoming court royalty put on a choreographed dance at midfield during halftime that would rival those seen on an episode of Glee. The photos tell the story: Priceless.
