Meteorologist Leaving WCCO-TV For NYC Station
"WCCO is a special place," the meteorologist said.

MINNEAPOLIS — A local meteorologist is leaving the Twin Cities for the Big Apple. Matt Brickman, who has worked for WCCO-TV for eight years, will be leaving the station later this month. "After eight years, August 20th will be my last day on WCCO. I’ve accepted a job at WNBC in New York City," Brickman tweeted Monday.
"WCCO is a special place. The community that exists among alumni & staff is rare to find anywhere - not just television."
The opportunity to work at a place as iconic as 30 Rock is something I couldn’t pass up. Something I never expected. I’m nervous & excited about this next challenge. I hope I’ll do you proud. pic.twitter.com/KLG04sKq6E
