The Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee is hosting a massive 10-day festival starting this month. Here's what you need to know.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — The Super Bowl doesn't come to your home state often, so it's best to make the most of it. While big game will be played Feb. 4, the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee is hosting a massive 10-day festival called "Super Bowl Live" with concerts and events open to the public. Other venues and organizations across the Twin Cities will be hosting special shows as well.

Here's a look at the activities available when the Super Bowl comes to town:

Freestyle Snowmobile Stunts At "Polaris UpsideDowntown"

Polaris UpsideDowntown opens Feb. 3 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and includes snowmobile stunts, meet and greets with snow athletes, giveaways and other outdoor fun. The snowmobile stunt show will take place at 1:30 p.m., culminating with Levi LaValle’s signature jump on Nicollet Mall at 11th Street.

American Birkebeiner International Bridge

Cross-country skiing, skijoring and tubing are just a few of the activities that visitors can witness when the American Birkebeiner International Bridge comes to Super Bowl Live. Spanning almost 200 feet, the bridge will be constructed on Nicollet Mall over 9th Street for the 10-day free and open to the public Super Bowl festival, providing 1 million Super Bowl visitors with a flare of the "Bold North."

Free Concert Series

Starting on Friday, Jan. 26 and each day following in the lead-up the Super Bowl, various musical acts will perform free concerts for Super Bowl Live. Daily line-ups and schedules will be organized largely based on genre, such as country, rock, gospel, hip hop, reggae and soul. Schedule line-up and details will be confirmed on a continuous basis in the days ahead.

Super Bowl Experience

Returning to Minneapolis for the first time since Super Bowl XXVI in 1992, organizers said the event offers fans a chance to get involved in the festivities surrounding Super Bowl LII, offering interactive games, youth football clinics, merchandise, player autograph sessions and more.

Ticketed Pre-Super Bowl Concerts

Ellie Goulding, Gwen Stefani, and Pink are just some of the performances coming to the Twin Cities this month.

ESPN To Broadcast From Minneapolis

ESPN shows will be open for public viewing and free of charge, and many will include guest stars from the sports and entertainment industries, according to a news release. Programming schedules will be announced at a later date.

Jimmy Fallon In Minneapolis

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon will tape a show at the Orpheum Theater on Super Bowl Sunday.

Zip Line Across The Mississippi River

Among other things, hosting Super Bowl LII will give Minnesotans the chance to soar across the Mississippi River suspended 100 feet in the air.

Saint Paul Winter Carnival

A massive ice palace will join the Saint Paul skyline during the 2018 Saint Paul Winter Carnival. Tour the frozen wonderland in Rice Park from Jan. 25 through Feb. 10.
